We perform most of the air analyses for regulatory compliance
and air quality
studies using standard or validated in-house methods, these
tests use either whole air
samples in bags, canisters, PUF/XAD cartridges, impinges, or
specially prepared traps and

Using state-of-the-art analytical instruments we are able
to achieve pollutant
analysis with very low detection limits. In addition to the
conventional methods for
analyzing for metals, volatile/semi-volatile organics, herbicides,
and pesticides, our
laboratory is capable of performing tests for other trace organic
or inorganic species in
solid samples to meet survey and monitoring objectives.
Ultra-trace Analysis of Sea Water, Ocean
Sediments, Fish and Plant Tissue
The analysis of ocean samples generally requires very low
detection limits. Many of
the other instruments such as the newer GCMS and ICPMS offer
extremely low detection
limits for risk assessment or ecotoxicology projects. If current
published methods are
not adequate for your purposes, further research for the enhancements
or development of
completely new methods can be provided upon request.
(B) Consulting Services
Sourcing of pollution control technology
and equipment for air, water and waste
treatment; technical evaluation of treatment options.
Environmental Risk Assessments (ERAs) to
address environmental and ecoloxicological
issues and provides evaluation of potential effects of toxic
contamination to receptor
environment. Combining with comprehensive testing, we will evaluate
the fate, effects and
risks of environmental pollutants through data collection, interpretation
and modeling
studies.
