We offer a series of modern instrumental and
chemical analytical technology for different types of samples
upon the request of the clients.

Major Analytical Instruments Include:
|
＊ Inductively
Coupled Plasma-Mass Spectrometry (ICP-MS, Agillent 4500, 7500A),
which could be applied to the analysis of a variety of samples
with low detection limits down to the ppb or ppt level. The advantages
of ICP-MS include analytical speed, reliability, isotopic analysis
in addition to sensitivity.
＊ Atomic Fluorescent Spectrometry
(AF-610A), which is very sensitive for some heavy metal determinations
such as Pb, Cd, Hg, and As. The instrument is often advantageous
for the determination of heavy metals in TCM and food samples.
＊ Gas Chromatography and Gas
Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry (GC, GC-MS, Agilent 6890). The
above two instruments are both equipped with on-line sample introduction
devices and multiple detectors. They are powerful techniques for
the determination of trace volatile or semi-volatile organic compounds.
The instruments are ideally suited for the determination of trace
pollutants including PAHs, PCBs, and pesticide residue in Chinese
medicinal materials and food products.
＊ High Performance Liquid
Chromatography (HPLC) with UV and fluorescent detectors, and HPLC-Mass
Spectrometry (HPLC-MS, Agilent 1100). The instruments are used
for the determination of bioactive components in TCMs, and the
fingerprinting analyses of TCMs for standardization and QA/QC.
